Grant Parker

Grant’s 16 years of real estate know-how and extensive background in senior management make him an excellent source of knowledge and guidance at the helm of Harcourts Wanaka.


Beginning in the industry as a sales consultant, Grant was highly commended as an award-winning and effective property marketer, selling in one of Auckland’s most desirable suburbs.


Grant soon moved on to management due to his talent and passion for motivating driven and effective teams. He became business development manager for Harcourts New Zealand, responsible for growth in the North Island franchises, before venturing to the Pacific Islands for a year, where he delivered outstanding results as general manager for Harcourts Fiji.


Upon returning to New Zealand and his business development role, he worked closely with businesses to ensure their continued success through full utilisation of the skills and services offered by the Harcourts team.


Grant’s passion for marketing and negotiation then saw him return to selling real estate on Auckland’s North Shore. He has always harboured a strong auction focus and was recognised as the Harcourts Top Auction Lister for his franchise of 200 agents in his first year. Grant also featured in the Harcourts New Zealand Top 25 agents, a proud achievement after a short period back at the coal face.


Grant relocated to Wanaka in 2014 to pursue a new challenge and, with a focus on recruitment, soon made Harcourts the largest real estate team in Wanaka. His success as a consultant along with a background in building have afforded him huge property understanding, and he offers passion, insight and invaluable advice for both his consultants and their clients.


With a strong community emphasis, Grant is a member of Rotary NZ and enjoys giving back to the Lakes community. He loves everything this region has to offer, and spends spare time skiing, sailing and mountain biking.


Grant cites his proudest moments as manager at Harcourts Wanaka as seeing the success of both his team members and clients - whether it’s their first transaction or subsequent property goals.
